We have an opening for a CHILDCARE DIRECTOR. The successful applicant will be responsible for the daily operations of the center. While we have been in business since  2005, the new Director will have the opportunity to create, develop, and implement new and creative programs to enhance and expand our business.

For all applicants...

1. 21 years or older
2. Must have at least 2 years' experience in a childcare center
3. Must meet all DPHSS certification requirements for a Childcare Director
4. ECE certification is a plus
5. Must be computer literate
6. Must have reliable transportation
7. Must have the ability and drive to manage and develop our center. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the oversight and management of all daily childcare activities to ensure the health and safety of the children, development of curriculum for all age groups, supervises and develops all employees, processes enrollment and Block Grant documents, promotes a positive learning and working environment, performs other management duties as assigned.

If chosen for the job, successful applicant must provide the following prior to start of employment...

1. Health Certificate from DPHSS (physical exam form will be provided)
2. Police and Court clearances (valid within last 30 days)
3. Copy of latest college/university transcripts and diplomas

THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, CONSTANT BENDING, LIFTING HEAVY OBJECTS (CHILDEN), STANDING FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME, ABILITY TO MOVE QUICKLY, AND ATTENTIVENESS. APPLICANT MUST BE PHYSICALLY COMPETENT TO PERFORM THE JOB TO BE CONSIDERED FOR EMPLOYMENT.

We have openings for teachers for all age groups. Applicants must have experience in caring for young children in a childcare center environment. Primary duties include preparing and implementing lesson plans depending on the age group.  Applicants must have the desire, patience, and physical ability to educate and prepare the children to enter the school system. 

For all applicants...

1. 18 years or older 
2. Must meet DPHSS certification for employment in childcare center
3. High school graduate or GED (able to provide copy of diploma/certificate)
4. ECE certification is a plus
5. Experience working with children from infants  to 5 years old
6. Must be computer literate
7. Must have reliable transportation
8. Must have the desire and patience to care for and educate young children

Primary duties are assisting teachers in daily childcare and education activities in a childcare center.  Applicants must have the desire, patience, and physical ability to care for children ranging from 2½ to 72 months old.
