We have openings for teachers for all age groups. Applicants must have experience in caring for young children in a childcare center environment. Primary duties include preparing and implementing lesson plans depending on the age group.  Applicants must have the desire, patience, and physical ability to educate and prepare the children to enter the school system. 

For all applicants...

1. 18 years or older 
2. High school graduate or GED (able to provide copy of diploma/certificate)
3. ECE certification is a plus
4. Experience working with children from infants  to 5 years old
5. Must be computer literate
6. Must have reliable transportation
7. Must have the desire and patience to care for and educate young children

If chosen for the job, successful applicant must provide the following prior to start of employment...

1. Health Certificate from DPHSS (physical exam form will be provided)
2. Police and Court clearances (valid within last 30 days)
3. Completed COVID-19 vaccination (2 dose Pfizer or Moderna, 1 dose J&J) OR unvaccinated employees are required to test for COVID-19 weekly  and provide certificate of negative results
4. Certificate of Negative COVID-19  test result (test must be taken within 72 hours of employment start date (applies to all new employees - vaccinated or unvaccinated)

THIS JOB REQUIRES THE PHYSICAL STAMINA TO CARE FOR CHILDREN AGES 2½-72 MONTHS. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, CONSTANT BENDING, LIFTING HEAVY OBJECTS (CHILDEN), STANDING FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME, ABILITY TO MOVE QUICKLY, AND ATTENTIVENESS. APPLICANT MUST BE PHYSICALLY COMPETENT TO PERFORM THE JOB TO BE CONSIDERED FOR EMPLOYMENT.

This is an entry level position. Applicants must have experience in caring for young children in a home or work environment. Primary duties are assisting teachers in daily childcare and education activities in a childcare center.  Applicants must have the desire, patience, and physical ability to care for children ranging from 2½ to 72 months old.
